Dance Pre-Education 8 months in Berlin

starting at the beginning of october 2023

Our 8- months Dance Pre-education is the right choice for you, if you wish to prepare intensively for a future Dance Education. This Dance Program is a great and unique possibility for you to get a taste of a real Dance Training. You need to have a technical dance background and attend one of our auditions to participate. If you haven’t much previous dance experience, we suggest to apply for our Dance Intensive instead.
All classes are held in english and german.

Admission requirements

You need to be highly motivated with a curious mentality. Enthusiastic by dance in ist multifaceted forms. Do you have the will to prepare yourself physically and mentally for a dance training?
You need technical pre-skills in dance. Once you have passed the audition you will take part in the first year of studies of the Dance Education.
You can visit the Dance Pre-Education in the age range between 16 and 26 years.
Exceptions must be agreed on beforehand.

Scope of training

2 classes lasting 90 minutes from monday to friday: 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
The holiday periods will be the ones of the Tanzakademie balance 1, not the official ones.
Each participant of the Pre-Education Dance will receive a certificate. In order to receive the certificate the dance student must not miss more than 25% of the entire program. Whoever has been absent more than 25% of the program can only receive a confirmation of participation.

Duration

Start of pre-professional dance training: Beginning of October
End of pre-professional dance training:  End of May

Fees

The flat-rate contribution for the 8 months is € 2240,- , which may be paid in monthly rates of € 280,- at the beginning of each month, at the latest on the 10th of each month in advance. Further costs will occur for dance wear.
